Our COVID Health & Safety Guidelines

COVID-19

ETG’s policies regarding COVID-19 are in accordance with current CDC guidance.

All children and parents entering will be given a temperature check. Children and Coaches with a temperature of 100.3 or above will not be allowed to attend class.

If your child has symptoms of COVID-19 (fever, cough, sore throat, respiratory illness, difficulty breathing) please do not bring them to class.

If your child is NOT vaccinated and has been in close contact with someone with COVID-19, please do not bring your child to class for 14 days after exposure.

This maybe subject to change due to updates in CDC and local government guidelines. Parents/Guardians of children enrolled in classes will be notified via email of any updates.

Use of Face Masks

Due to the recent rise in COVID-19 cases, we now recommend all children wear face masks in our gymnastics rooms.

Parents and children age 12 and up are required to wear face masks in common areas of The Prep.

Coaches are required to wear a face mask both while coaching and in and around the common areas of The Prep.

This maybe subject to change due to updates in CDC and local government guidelines. Parents/Guardians of children enrolled in classes will be notified via email of any updates.

Gym Safety Protocols

Gymnastics areas, lesson plans, drill stations, etc have all been measured, designed, and set up to support social distancing to the maximum extent practical while participating in class.

Airflow (ventilation) through our gymnastics areas will be maximized by leaving doors open and running fans in each door.

All utilized equipment will be cleaned and sanitized by ETG Coaches throughout class.

Hand sanitizer will be provided and used by children and Coaches during class.

Coaches will wash their hands in between classes.

This maybe subject to change due to updates in CDC and local government guidelines. Parents/Guardians of children enrolled in classes will be notified via email of any updates.

Parent Viewing

We strongly encourage parents and guardians of children ages six and older to drop their child off for class and then return to pick them up to help keep the common areas and hallways of The Prep clear and safe.

Gatherings in the hallway outside ETG rooms will not be permitted for safety reasons.

Parents of children in Dyna Mites and children age five and younger are required to remain in the lobby during class to help their child use the restroom during class if necessary.
